Anti-Keylogger

What is a Keylogger?

Keylogger is short for keystroke logger which is a program or hardware used to monitor the keystrokes of a computer keyboard, normally the user not being aware that they are being monitored.

How do I know if I have a keylogger running on my computer?

A technical person can check what programs are running on their computer and differentiate the legal programs against the illegal programs that are running via windows task manager. This can be used to find out if a keylogger is running. Other ways are to scan the computer with tools such as anti-malware programs.

How do I protect myself from keyloggers?

There are various programs out there which are used to protect computers against keyloggers, these encrypt the keystrokes of the keyboard so the keylogger is unable to monitor the computer. Anti-malware software can find and get rid of keyloggers and so can some anti-virus softwares.

What I recommend:

I recommend you have installed on your computer an anti-malware and anti-virus software. Also for extra protection an anti-keylogging software. There are various anti-keylogging software’s out there , but I recommend one called Keyscrambler, there is both a free and premium version.
